Working in my garden with Louise Woodstock Gardens is an unmitigated joy!

Louise herself is an extraordinary garden design and horticultural talent. She and her team have helped me to transform my garden into one which brings me joy every day. She is also a fantastic teacher. I  continue to learn from her, not only about matters strictly horticultural, but also about how gardening heals the spirit as well as the environment. I am a better gardener and person because of her. I am grateful for her gardening fellowship!

We are thrilled with the result!

When I moved into my house, my small sloped Borough backyard had been neglected and arranged over the years in what felt like a haphazard, inhospitable and incongruous space. As a result, I never was drawn to spend time in the yard, patio or deck. When I happened on Louise's annual plant sale in her backyard, I got a glimpse of what could be. We hired Louise to re-envision and replant our entire backyard, and front and side beds. Nearly everything was removed and replanted. She worked with us to find out how we wanted to use the yard, suggested plants and worked on an action plan that worked for us. Over the (very hot) summer, she checked in regularly and gave us advice on how to keep the young plants thriving in the heat. We are thrilled with the result. The yard now feels welcoming and verdant. And, my family and I have spent much more time outside this year than ever before–which we credit to Louise's transformation. We look forward to working with her going forward to continue to shape and nurture our outdoor space.
